The men folk have been out cross fencing, again. Had some good friends come up to exchange work. Kelly worked on the blade for their back hoe, in turn, they helped us get the work done we needed to do.
It was 103 degrees that day when Richard, Daniel C. and Nate, plus my Bill and Daniel put up the T-Posts and wood posts for the gates, while Kelly welded the blade. We have 3 drive through gates and 2 walk through gates. One drive through is from the front of the property and another is down into the lower meadow pasture, the 3rd goes into the sideyard that goes up to the front. We learned in the past not to fence ourselves out of any pastures!
Kelly, Billy and Daniel all worked on finishing up that backfence and putting up the gates. That was interesting as we had downpours and had to wait for things to dry out.
